Whoooo live in a pineapple under the sea?

Spongebob Squarepants! Hi y'all! Sorry couldn't help myself! It's all I could think about while I was doing these super cute pineapple nails. These were super fun and simple to do. They just might be perfect for a fun tropical themed summer party as well ;)

I really didn't want to take these off at all once I did them but you know, the life of a nail blogger, right? Anyways, click through the jump to see how I did these fun summer fruit nails!

I started these off with my base coat, and two coats of Sinful Colors Pull Over which by the way? Was one of the first polishes I bought back when I started this little nail adventure. And I still have it! /end fun fact. Once the base color was dry, I used brown acrylic paint and a liner brush to make the pattern. What you want to do here, is basically make a quilted pattern. Use striping tape if you'd rather! I just prefer freehanding. I think place tiny dots using the same brown and a dotting tool, inside each diamond shape. Then I made the shape of the leaves with a green paint around the cuticle. I also added some lighter green to add some details and highlights to the leaves.

Hope you all enjoyed this look as much as I did! Let me know what you thought in the comments below!
