Happy Halloween!

Just something I threw together, the mummy nails came out best I think, and the dry water marbles, it was my first time trying to do that. my thumbs have pumkins but.. i don't like how they came out and the black was getting thick and stringy as i was doing it so it made them even worse :| but yeah.

Halloween week: haunted house

Halloween is almost here! and this is my attempt at haunted house nails, which didn't turn exactly how i hoped but oh well.

Halloween week: ghosts

My ghost nails! included the last picture just to show i always do both hands, even if i don't always show both, it's hard to take pictures of them both on my own! but there you go. I think they turned out pretty good. I'll have one more look tomorrow to round out the week, and then i'll try to have another ready to post on halloween day, just a little something special. :) 

Halloween week: Zombies

Todays nails are inspired by zombies! I used a base color of china glaze re-fresh mint and sponged on three other green colors, then sponged refreshmint back over that to lighten it up a bit since it had gotten too dark. Sponged sinful colors rich in heart onto the tips to kinda look like dirt and dried blood, and did random splotches, and used a tooth brush with sinful colors nail art in be my valentine. the ring fingers were just refresh mint with fantasy maker red crackle polish over it. it's been my favorite to do and with how it turned out so far.

don't know how much i like how these turned out, the vamps face is lopsided, and so are his teeth. But! at least i made both sides lopsided in the same way so they match, hahaha. but i thought they were cute little vampires either way. 

Halloween week!

well.. I was actually planning on doing that whole halloween nail art challenge, and well... as you see, I did the first one and gave up. I had been hoping to get things to try something new for the second challenge of it, as I HATE doing watermarble, it's so messy and all of that, and it never turns out the way I hope, so I just avoid it. This is actually what i was going to do for it instead.. and then that didn't turn out quite right either, aarg, so then i just said forget he challenge, and well, thought i'd try this instead. I'll try to have a different look up each day until halloween, that'll be a little more than a week, and i'm not actually promising there will be one every day, but i'm gonna try! anyways.. my watermarble substitute that wasn't much of a substitute at all..

I tried saran wrap nails instead of water marble. less messy but i need some practice. I kinda liked how they turned out.
