Hi y'all! I'm back again! I'm so sorry I disappeared but I guess life happened. I've been hard at work on my school because I am determined to get my diploma so I can go to school to be a nail tech. DETERMINED. There's also been some stuff that's happened in the last couple months that's made things a little crazy. But I sat down tonight and decided to practice some roses because I was bored and it's something I need to work on, so I thought I'd share it here. I'll show some more and explain a little more about where I've been after the jump!

31 day challenge: Yellow nails!
Hi y'all! I'm back again with my yellow nails for the 31 day challenge! I decided on spring-y bumble bees, which I've done before, but I like the way these have turned out much better! It's a little weird doing this challenge all on my own, but it usually turns out that way anyways. It seems no one wants to do challenges or anything else with me BIG FAT SAD FACE.
Anyways. For my yellow nails I used LA Colors Daisy and for the accent nail I used Sally Hansen Breezy Blue and everything else was done with acrylic paint and a detail brush. These were super fun and so easy to do!

Striped and pattterned nails!
Hi y'all! Trying to keep up with this posting regularly trend I've got going here! I've mostly just gotta keep myself editing and writing this posted in a timely manner! I let time get away from me most of the time! Anyways, I have these.. I don't know what to call them? Stripes with a geometric print? Hmm? Any thoughts on what to call them? Anyways. I really enjoyed doing these so I hope you like them as well!
I started this off with my base color LA Colors Meadow and then I added a strip down the middle with Sinful Colors Snow Me White before adding LA Colors Flicker on top of that! I used the white to make sure the neon yellow really *POPPED* over the teal-ish color.
When that was dry, I took my detail brush, and I mixed a dab of black with my metalic white acrylic paint to make a silver color, then I added a zig zag pattern over the yellow, and then two stripes down the side of the thick yellow one. They were so fun! And made me sooo so ready for summer! I'm tired of this rainy and cold weather!
Thanks for reading! Hope you liked it! Let me know what you thought in the comments below!

ORange skittle nails!
Hi y'all! I have some more nail art to share with you all today! I wanted something a little more bright and summery, and we'd had some nice weather for a couple days so it was the perfect time! Plus, my mom had bought me a couple new polishes and I needed and excuse to use them.
I started this off with two coats of LA Colors Orange Crush and I had wanted daisies, but I don't know what happened. they came out looking more like fried eggs, haha. Then I did stripes on the pinky, and I've never done chevron stripes so I really wanted to try them out! All the details were don't with acrylic paint.
Hope you all enjoyed this as much as I did! Let me know what you thought in the comments below!

Witch nail art!
Hi y'all! I have some more halloween looks for you today! Or well.. one at least.
Today's Mani was Witch inspired, the purple was just called for it. Yeah, don't ask why dark shades of purple this time of year make me think 'WITCH'
My middle finger you might notice looks a little wonky. I had a tear/break and rather than cut it down and have to match all the others to it, I thought I'd put the acrylic kit that I've had forever and haven't even opened to use finally and just do a thin layer as a patch til it grows out.
Well, turns out I put it on WAY uneven and it kinda ended up all over the place. AND it didn't even help cause a couple hours later the piece of nail STILL broke off along with the acrylic over it, so I still ended up having to file it down shorter, and then file the others a bit so they match better. Plus, I have this bumpy bubble nail or something, I don't even know. I'll work on that over the next several days to make it look a little better at least I'm sure, my cuticle was getting angry from all the filing though so I had to stop. Hopefully it'll grow out a bit over the weekend and make things a little easier.
ANYWAYS that was a lot of rambling about nothing. Let's get to how I did this look shall we? I use Wet N Wild Eggplant for the purple base color, I've had this forever and this is the first time I've used it. I need to change that! This purple is amazing! Such a pretty dark shade of purple with the more gorgeous blue shimmer. The middle finger is Sinful Colors Snow Me White and the rest if all done with acrylic paint. Stripes on the middle finger, a witch hat on the index, a belt buckle on the pinky, and on the ring finger is witch legs and her stockings and then the bottom part of her place dress hanging down.
I was really happy with how this came out actually! So cute! Just wish that middle finger didn't look so bubbly lol.
Hope you all enjoyed these as much as I did! Let me know what you thought in the comments below!

Stripes and Roses
Hi y'all! I have these fun rose nail for you all today along with a striped accent nail. I actually did a video for these, but it didn't turn out at all the way I was hoping, so I deleted it and said forget it. I've actually decided that I probably won't do videos very often, my camera I just don't think is meant for it, I can't get the lighting just right, and well, to be honest, I just don't like the editing process for it. It takes time away from the blog where I could be interacting and sharing with all of you. And yes, I definitely mean that, I would much rather be doing that than editing a video. Anyways, on to the nails!

Let It Snow Winter Challenge; Stripes!
Hi y'all! I have some fun nautical stripes for you today for the Let It Snow Challenge. The theme for the day was stripes and I've been wanting to do some nautical nail art so it was the perfect excuse to do it finally.
I started out with a base color of Sinful Colors Rain Storm for the dark blue, then I used white acrylic paint and a striping brush to make the stripes and the shape of the anchor.
I then went over the white anchor with LA Colors in Deluxe to get the gold and added a dot at the top with a dotting tool, then used Rain Storm again to make a smaller dot inside the gold one. I was pretty excited with how these turned out.
Be sure to check out the rest of the challenge themes and all the other ladies stripe manis below! And let me know what you think in the comments!

Let It Snow Winter Challenge; Candy Canes
Hi y'all! Another challenge mani for you all! Today's them is Candy Canes and I did this neat stripe look for it too look like the little minty candy cane candies. My favorite were always the spearmint ones because I'm not a huge fan of peppermint myself, so I just did the red ones as an accent. I really like how these turned out.
I used Wet N Wild A Blank Canvas as a base on the accent nail, and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mint Sorbet for the base of all the other nails. Then I used a small nail art brush and red and green acrylic paints to make the stripes on the nail. I was really surprised and happy with how these came out.
Let me know what you think in the comments below and also check out the other candy cane nails and the rest of the challenge themes!

kkcenterhk Brush and Water Decals
**these items were sent to me free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion**
Hi y'all!I have some more items from kkcenterhk store for you all today! This time I got some more brushes to try out and some water decals. Both worked really well! Up above is the mani I did to test out the brushes. They worked perfectly for the stripes! I also used them for the stems on the cherries. I wasn't happy with how it turned out over all though cause I suck at doing patterned nails, haha.
These are the brushes I got, they're amazing. SUPER thin and work great for all your striping needs. You can get them here.
The second Item I had to try out for them were these water decals. Let me just mention, I got the email about picking another item literally the day after Foofy passed away, and as I was trying to look through and decide what to get, I decided to look through some of the water decals. This happened to be one of the first ones I seen. It's a sheet with different little bunnies on it, but this one stood out to me. I knew I had to have it for my little angel bunny Foofster, and they're perfect! They don't quite look like her, but they're super cute and I love them. And how perfect of a match is that nail polish color?
Anyways, the water decals worked great! I love them. It took a little effort to slide them off the backing paper but other than that they were great!
If you'd like to get your very own little angel bunnies you can find them here.

Childs play nails!
Hi, I'm chucky, and I'm your friend 'til the end! Hidey-ho!
Uhh, yeah, I just went there. Chucky is my favorite little possessed killer doll ever. And he's part of my Halloween nail art looks for this month! I just loooove him, even the newer movies, Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky, while they were more funny than scary (All horror movies are more funny thatn scary to me, so what the difference?) I just love that little doll. I love his humor and the lines he throws at people, it's just so amusing to me. Him and Freddy Krueger are my favorite for the same reason - They have the best lines ever. I HATE the nightmare on elm street remake though because that new guy playing Freddy? Will never ever ever be Freddy. Robert Englund is Freddy. And thats the only one I will ever accept. Just like the guy that does Chucky? Sooo glad he's still going to be Chucky in the new Curse of Chucky cause otherwise... No.
But anyways! To the nails, enough of my ramblings! On my ring finger we have Chucky's little doll face. And the rest are stripped inspired by his shirt he wears under the overalls. Which got messy. And I should have fixed. Sorry about that.

Nightmare on Elm Street Nails!
Hi Y'all! I have some more spooky (or just plain bloody) nails for you today for the month of October! Today I have some Nightmare on Elm Street nails for you inspired by Freddy Krueger. I also did these nails for Halloween last year but I definitely feel like my skill and picture taking has gotten much better! My drips are definitely a lot better this time around!
Products used:
Sinful Colors - Leap Flog
LA Colors - Festive
Milani - Pearl Glaze
Sally Hansen Anti-chip instdri top coat.
LA Colors base and top coat
dotting tools
This look was easy to do, just start with a red base color and add thick stripes of a dark green polish. I just used the brush on the polish since I wanted a thick line. I used a nude base for the blood drips, and a dotting tool to make the drips with a red polish. I really think I've finally gotten the drip look down. If only I can remember exactly how I did it.
What do you all think of these? Let me know in the comments below!

Arrrg Matey! Pirate nail art.
Arrrg Matey! I've got some Pirate sort of inspired nail art for you all today. It was actually inspired by a conversation me and my cousin had a few days ago about getting gold and needing a pirate ship. We then decided all the women of the ship would be captains and run they're own little section, and any of the men that tried to argue and do things their way would be made to walk the plank! Yes, we're a little bit crazy, but oh well.
ANYWAYS, this nail art came from that conversation. We need some good nails to match our ship right? Right! I used Sinful Colors Rich In Heart which is the dark nearly black with red shimmer color, and LA Colors Festive (Which is the red) for this look. All the other colors are acrylic paint and freehanding on with striping brushes, dotting tools, and toothpicks. The accent nails I used striping tape and the darker color was sponged on over the red for the background of the skulls.

Water marble Wednesday!
So, I skipped water marble Wednesday last week because I was sick the week before that and I didn't feel like doing much of anything with my nails. Definitely didn't feel like dealing with the mess of water marbling to get ahead and have one all set up to post last week. But I did promise I'd bring it back this week with another water marble, so here we are! Just click the jump below to see more and find out how I did these nails.

Disney nail art challenge day 20: Toy Story!
Yayy! We've made it to the pixar movies! Some of my favorite disney movies are Pixar animation. And Toy Story is one of THE best and the original pixar movie. And one of the only movies ever to have not only one, but TWO awesome sequels that were just as good as the first one. Love them. But anyways.
For these nails I started with la colors meadow on my index and pinky fingers. On the middle i used a white mini from la colors, and on the ring finger I used sinful colors unicorn these are obviously inspired by two of the main characters from the movie, woody and buzz, and I added in the aliens from the pizza planet claw machine for fun because they're awesome!
OooOOoo the claw!
Now I want to go watch toy story. What do you think of these nails? Let me know in the comments below and check out all the other toy story nails.

31 day challenge day 15: Delicate print
Todays 31DC theme is delicate print. I never know what to do with this. So I did a lacy type half moon thing. The base color is LA colors bliss and the rest if acrylic paint. This didn't turn out at all like what I pictured in my head but I kinda like it still. I wrote "Live. Laugh. Love." On the nails as well, but that didn't really come out too well.
What do you think about these nails? Let me know in the comments below!

extra relaxed 31 day challenge day 11: Stripes
Todays 31dc nails are stripes. They came out really girly, and I kinda love them. I used sinful colors folly for the base (one coat too and it was perfect.) and the rest is acrylic paint, and freehanded. I really like how the stripes came out and how the colors went together. But my flowers look more like fried eggs, it's gross, haha.
What do you guys think about these nails? Love them or hate them? Let me know in the comments!
