Water marble Wednesday!

So, I skipped water marble Wednesday last week because I was sick the week before that and I didn't feel like doing much of anything with my nails. Definitely didn't feel like dealing with the mess of water marbling to get ahead and have one all set up to post last week. But I did promise I'd bring it back this week with another water marble, so here we are! Just click the jump below to see more and find out how I did these nails.

First, I did all my base colors, Wet N Wild Retro Mint On the pinky, and I Need A Refresh Mint on the thumb, Sinful Colors Snow Me White on the index finger, and LA Colors Wisteria on the middle and ring fingers. The water marble was done on the middle and ring fingers only this time and I used Wisteria and I Need A Refresh Mint. now, I meant to have Retro Mint in that mix which is why it's on the pinky, but it just didn't work out that way. For the pinky, I just added a little LA Colors rhinestone that's bow shaped and blue at the top of it. I used striping tape and painted over with I Need A Refresh Mint on the index finger, then painted a heart outline with black acrylic paint. Then I added little purple heart shaped rhinestones. For the thumb, I used Wisteria and black acrylic paint to create a leopard print. I tried making the spots heart shaped but it mostly just looks like regular leopard print, if you look close though you can see the heart shape on the spots.

I actually loved this so much that as of right now, at the moment of typing this post, I'm still wearing it, and only have one tiny chip on the right index finger. I loved how all the colors looked together and how the water marble came out.

What do you think of these nails? Let me know in the comments below and remember to share you're own water marbles, either in picture or link form, on the facebook page!

    1. Thanks! I just did take it off, lol. I was kinda sad that it started chipping finally and then all the little rhinestone things fell off :( haha
