Easter Nail art!

Sinful colors pink forever curry up easter bunnies carrots
Hi y'all! I'm actually back again in a timely manner! I totally try I promise! I get behind because I really want to get my school done and it's all online so I could work on it all day every day if I want to. So everytime I go to write up a blog post I'm thinking, "But I could be doing school work. I should be doing school work." and then I forget all about getting the post together because I start in on some math, or some other sort of school stuff and oh well. More important than blogging right?

Anyways. I wanted to do some cute Easter nails for the holiday sunday, so I put these together and I'm sitting here writing this post while I take a break from school stuff and give my nails some much needed TLC. The base color on these is Sinful Colors Curry Up with Pink Forever as the accent color. I did the bunny and the carrots and dots with acrylic paint and a tiny little detail brush.

Rose nail practice, and I'm back! Again!

Hi y'all! I'm back again! I'm so sorry I disappeared but I guess life happened. I've been hard at work on my school because I am determined to get my diploma so I can go to school to be a nail tech. DETERMINED. There's also been some stuff that's happened in the last couple months that's made things a little crazy. But I sat down tonight and decided to practice some roses because I was bored and it's something I need to work on, so I thought I'd share it here. I'll show some more and explain a little more about where I've been after the jump!

Reindeer and more born pretty store items!

reindeer nail art christmas rudolph red nose
Hi y'all! I'm back again with some more cute Christmas nail art and more brushes from bornprettystore! I had so much fun with these!

First I started off with two coats of Sinful Colors Social Ladder and then I used some nail art brushes that I recieved for review from BornPrettyStore. The brushes worked great! It was a set of three, with one tiny detail brush, one flat brush, and one angled flat brush. My only complaint is that the detail brush could have been smaller but for filling in larger shapes like on some of the reindeer parts, it was great! I used all acrylic paint for the details of these as well, and the stripes as well!

You can get the brushes right here for around $4.60, and if you use the code Ring10 you'll get 10% off your entire order!

Snowflakes! + bornprettystore review!

Hi y'all! I'm back with another blog post! I'm doing the clairestelle8 challenge for December which is hosted on instagram right here. I've also got a few items from bornprettystore I used in this post as well!

To start with I did a gradient with Wet N Wild French White Tip, Teal Slowly And See, and Chambray Showers. That was topped with KiloX Opulent Top Coat. The ring finger I used chevron striping tape from born pretty store which they sent to me free of charge in exchange for review. It worked just as well as any other striping tape and I got this cute little pattern on my nails with it! Cute!
You can get it here for about $1.47

For the snowflakes I used metallic acrylic paint and a liner brush which was also sent to me by born pretty store to review. This brush wasn't my favorite just because it could have been smaller for better details, but it worked well otherwise!

You can get the brush here.

I'm baaack! + Skeleton girl nail art

Skeleton Girl Nail Art, purple and green swirlies, lace manicure
Hi y'all! Let's see if I remember how to do this blogging thing. Real quick, let's get to the nails, then I'll explain a bit about where I've been, why the blog has been sitting with no activity lately.

First, the nails. For these, I used Wet N Wild Get High for the green base color, for the purple, I used Wet N Wild Eggplant and for the sparkly green? It's a NYC polish that I can't remember the name of, and I don't have it in front of me. I can tell you it was a part of last years holiday collection though and I'm just getting around to using it.

The girl was made using acrylic paint, as was the black lines on the other nails. I'm not too happy with the face as the eyes are a HUGE mess, but it made for good practice as I definitely need to get better at faces.

And as for the explanation? Go ahead and click the jump to see that
