Autumn trees nail art!

Hi y'all! I have some fall time nail art for you all today! I'm sooo ready for summer to be gone, especially in this Texas heat, that I have to get start already! Plus, it's almost that time right?! Which also means, Halloween is soon, my most favorite part of the whole season, I can't wait.

Aldo, my squares are back!! Mostly anyways, they're still a little rounded on the sides and edges, at least more than I would like them to be, but it's hardly noticeable, and a few more weeks of growth and I can file that away as well. But anyways, click through the jump to see more on this look!

For these nails I used Broadway Nails Polish in Ballet Flat which is a really nice light nude-ish pink. Really nice color, I liked it all by it self, looked good with my skin tone and everything. Anyways.

Once the base color was dry, I used a dotting tool and acrylic paints in red, orange, yellow, and green, (blue and purple and we would have had a rainbow in there lol) and dotted out the basic shape of the tree top along my nails. Then I used a brown and a detail brush to paint in the tree itself, the trunk and all the little branches come out. Then I dotted in all the colors again to cover the spaces where there might have been too much brown, or spaces that needed to be filled in. I really liked the way these came out!

Hope you all enjoyed these as much as I did! Let me know what you thought in the comments below!

  1. I love it, so original! I would never have the patience (or the steady hand). I do have a dotting tool, though, lol :)
