Yay! Time for another Off-topic Tuesday. I skipped last week because I didn't have much to add, but that just means that I have more to include this week! I hope you are all enjoying these posts as much I am am enjoying putting them together and talking about things other than nail polish and beauty items. It gives me a chance to let my readers get to know me a little bit better and see what else I'm interested in besides just polish and beauty. So lets get started shall we?
First let's talk sims. These are babies from my legacy challenge! The first is Hathor, one of the oldest babies (they have three sets of twins, she's from the oldest set) from generation three, while there on the right we have the founder Memphis and his husband as elders. My babies there are going to die before too long and I'm not sure if I'm ready for it. At. All. Seriously. But if you guys would like to see more of the Lyric legacy, hop over to their blog and read about all their crazy antics.
Does anyone else watch this show? I can't get enough of it! I love all things horror, I'll literally sit through even the dumbest of scary movies if I think I might see some blood and guts at some point in it. And this show has the BEST gore and is a pretty awesome show even if a little confusing at times. Me and my mom looove it.
and I am amusing myself that included this along with Hannibal. I have a thing about watching only horror and kids movies. I'm not even kidding. Normally, if it's not horror or kids, I'll skip right over it. Every now and then a comedy gets thrown in, but otherwise, nope. But, I've been meaning to watch BRAVE since it came out. I LOVE Pixar movies so much, the story is always amazing and the graphics and visuals they do in their movies are just, so. good. I can't get over how amazing they are. And with Brave, they introduced the first princess to the Pixar family. LOVE IT. and it was SO GOOD, as expected. I FINALLY got around to watching it because I was planning on working on my nail art for the Disney challenge, and had gotten to the Brave theme and realized, I've never seen it. So I needed to fix that so I could come up with something awesome!
Then I was apparently on a movie watching spree because after Brave I stayed up for another two and half hours to watch Oz the Great and Powerful. Another AWESOME Disney movie. I know most probably don't think so, I heard plenty of bad things about it, but that didn't stop me from wanting to see it in the least. I wish I could have seen it in the theater. The colors are SO BRIGHT. it's so colorful and there's so many pretty scenes to look at. And I LOVE the little china doll character. She was just so cute. The flying monkey is pretty awesome too!
Annnd you get a picture of Adam Lambert so that I can fill in some more space and add in something other than movies/tv shows I've been watching since last time. Just look at the pretty and you'll probably forget about everything else mentioned here anyways ;)
I almost forgot! I also got another box from Influenster over the weekend as well. It had lots of fun goodies in it, a tastykake candy bar thingy, some OSiS dust it texturizing powder, some deoderant, and some of those imPRESS press on nails from broadway nails. Is anyone else reading a influenster member? Have you gotten anything from them? This is my second box, the first being the palmolive soft touch dish soap. I wasn't expecting to get anything from them, but it's been a lot of fun so far! And I've gotten free stuff to try! expensive stuff too. that hair dust it powder is apparently $23.50 and thats a full size thing of it, not a sample :|
anyways, I think that's all for this week!
