Hi y'all! This is the second post for the day! and the last I promise! I don't wanna spam everyone too much! These are some more items I got to review from BornPrettyStore. There's a stamper, a stamping plate, and some studs including in this post. 

First up we'll do the studs. They come in a little jar and they have a mix of shapes in them. There are squares, circles, and a sort of tear drop shape? And there are also a variety of colors mixed in there. There's a pretty good amout of them to play with and they were easy enough to pick out the shape and color you want, I would probably separate them out if I had empty containers to put them into though. I had so much fun playing and trying to find a way to use them though.

Second up is the stamper I received. I was super excited about it being a squishy stamper being as how everyone always goes on and on about how GREAT they are. And let me tell you... if this is they're idea of a great easy to use stamper? I don't wanna know what a bad one is to them. I had SO MUCH trouble with it. I wouldn't get it to pick up the images. I prepped it in every single way I could find to prep it with out totally ruining it and still noting. It picks up images half way or not at all. I know it wasn't the plate itself either because my normal konad stamper picked up the image fine. I'm going to try one last thing to get it to work correctly before I write it off completely, but if that doesn't work? Then no. I don't recommend it unless you have experience with squishy stampers because I definitely can't figure this one out.

Last up is the stamping plate I received! It's a "Music Themed" plate (It's actually Michael Jackson Themed, I picked it for the music note pattern and nothing else tbh)  with some pretty cute images on it.The plate worked great! The images are crisp and clear and pick up perfectly with my konad stamper. (And the few times I got the squishy stamper to work right) so I would definitely recommend this one if you're into the images on it! And it's super cheap as well!

Happy Easter!

Hi y'all! I had some Easter nail art for you all today! And Bunday! Me and Valentina are just wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday! Hope you enjoy your dinners and egg hunts, or whatever you do to celebrate the day! And if you don't celebrate Easter, then.. Happy whatever holiday you do celebrate! As you can see, Valentina was not amused by my little photoshoot with her the other night. She's obviously too good for that treatment and should just get treats and head rubs instead. Plus I moved her babies to use in the picture! *Gasp* How dare me. (the stuffed animals you can see behind her, are her babies, lol. Tina doesn't have actualy babies) 

 There were a lot of polishes used here so let me try to remember them all. 

There was Wet N Wild French tip, Tickled Pink, and Retro Mint and then there was LA Colors Bliss, and Daisy and I used Sinful colors Snow Me White under my decals for a base. 

There were so many colors because they just weren't cooperating for the water marble for me at all, so I had to keep trying different ones, but I still had the dried marbled polish laying around, so I ended up just making what I could, work for a decal. I like how they came out actually. I thought the water marble would be sort of like an Easter Egg look. The bunny was painted with acrylic paints. And It's kind of terrifying, so sorry about that. 

Born Pretty Store Round Resin Rhinestones!

 Hi y'all! Today I have some nail art studs to share with you all from born pretty store! These were sent to me free of charge in exchange for a review! I'm really not great with studs, but these looked cute and fun so I grabbed them in my item pick! 

There were super fun to play with and I loooved the colors! 

Skull Lace Nail art!

Hi y'all! I have a super special treat for you all today! I'm getting started on all my halloween looks and I am oh so excited that it's that time of year again! My favorite! What I have today are some Skull Lace nails inspired by Robin Moses, I'm too lazy to find the video and link it, but if you search for skull lace Robin Moses on YouTube you should probably find it. 

These didn't quite turn out the way I had them pictured in my head, but I liked them anyways! I haven't quite gotten them down actually, until the last nail, (the thumb) Which is why the thumb is included actually! 

Anyways, to do these I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White to make the french tips in a diagonal line, painting the full accent nail. Then I used a detail brush and black acrylic paint or all the rest of the details and then added some black studs I had along the center of the accent nail.

Dragonfly Nails!

 Hi y'all! I have some more nail art for you all today so I hope you enjoy it! Today I have some cute and simple dotted Dragonflys. You might have noticed another post I did recently had bumble bees, this is because I asked recently on my facebook page for people to try and help give me some inspiration as I was feeling a little stuck when it came to ideas. There's so many designs out there, it's hard to find one that hasn't been done so much that you're sick of seeing it! Though there are so many cute ones it's also hard to resist trying them. BUT anyways, the point is, someone suggested I do an insect theme for the spring/summer and I thought that was a great idea! So I've gotten started on that and I just have to decide for sure what other insects will be included in the mix! Bumble bees and dragonflies are done. Next up I'm thinking is lady bugs? We'll have to wait and see! Now, click through the jump to see more!

GUEST POST: Gold and Purple Studs

Hello All! I'm Amy and I blog over at The Fancy Side. I'm so happy Katherine is having me on her corner of the internet today. We belong to the same polish bloggers group on FB and she recently asked for guest posters. I love making new friends, so here I am! If you don't know me, I'm a midwestern girl who has recently relocated to the Big Apple. It's a crazy city but my little family and I like it. ;-)

For the look I created for you all, I started with a base of OPI Dutch Ya' Just Love OPI? This is a beautiful dark berry purple polish that is filled with the most amazing copper shimmer. That shimmer was hard to capture, but it's amazing out in the sun light.

The blue package under is the nail studs which you can find here and the star shaped glitter can be found here. The glitter is a lot bigger than I was expecting, and also the fact that it's packed as full as possible is also a huge plus. the size of the studs are a lot smaller than I was thinking they would be, but I love them just the same!

This is the look I put together using the items. I wasn't sure at all what to do with the stars, but I thought, why not a jelly sandwich? And it was perfect and looks like a fancy indie polish but it's really just cheap dollar store polish and some glitter! I used a base of two coats of wet n wild mega last on all fingers then a coat os la colors confetti which I stuck the stars into while still wet, then I put one coat of la color la creme on top of that. I love the look it gave! 

Just a warning though. The stars DO curl and peel up if not properly stuck down to the nail. I have a couple start to come up before I even got a chance to top coat it, and even after they still poked through. So just be sure you stick them down well and then coat a top coat/polish over them well to be sure they stay in place! 

For the studs, the minute I seen them I knew instantly I wanted to do a quilted pattern so for my accent nail, I grabbed my striping tape and a black cream polish and got to work! After the black dried a bit, I added a clear coat, and then dipped a tooth pick into clear polish to use to pick up the tiny little studs and place them on the nail onto the wet clear polish, then I topped it off with my top coat. It got a little un even and messy but otherwise I really like how it came out and the studs stay in place perfectly! I especially like how they lay flat. Like, you can see them, and it's obvious they're studs, but they're flat and don't stick up off the nail too much. They're perfect!
