Hi y'all! I have some swatches to show you all today from Marbles for Polish, a rather new indie brand! She sent me three polishes to review for her, two full size, and one mini, and I'll just start off by saying that I definitely recommend her polishes! I had no issues with them at all and the colors are so cute. But lets just get to the pretty colors and look at them individually!
Goodnight, Baby star glitter topper. |
Goodnight, Baby Is a star glitter topper in a clear base. It's got little mini sized stars in teal, purple, and pink, along with some other micro glitters in those same colors. I really loved the look of this, and I also really really want to make a pastel galaxy nail and use this topper in it, it'd be so cute, don't you think? This required a lot of shaking as the stars sunk easily, but not really a big deal at all, easy enough to shake. At least if you ask me. Dry time was pretty average, didn't take too long, but wasn't super fast or anything either. I also had to kinda fish for the stars as they didn't stay on the brush well, but again, not too big of a deal. Over all I really liked it and the color and combination is soooo pretty! Definitely like the mini stars over the normal sized stars now. This is one coat over Speckled Egg, with two coats on the ring finger. i
Mermaid Summer |
Mermaid Summer is a really pretty teal color with lots of pretty shimmer and sparkle! It looked a lot like a holo scattered effect on my nails, but not at all in the bottle so it was a big surprise! It didn't quite come out in pictures showing all the extra sparkle it has though. This one had slightly faster dry time, but still pretty average, and this is two coats shown with no top coat. Application was easy and smooth.
Speckled Egg |
Speckled Egg Is one of the two in the spring Duo which is now in the clearance section of the Marbles For Polish shop, and it's a light baby blue with some white/silver glitters and some blue shard glitters. I really loved the look of this one a lot! Though I'd recommend a coat of top coat to smooth it out to the smoothest it can be. Dry time was about average on this one as well, just like the other two and also had awesome application. I was actually pleasantly surprised by that since usually lighter colors like this are more streaky in my experience, but this one wasn't at all! This is two coats shown with no top coat.
Hope you all enjoyed! Let me know in the comments below what you think and if there's anything you'd like to see in future blog posts!
Great swatches and review! These look like nice colors.
