Argyle pattern nails!

Hi y'all! I have some more nail art for you all today! An argyle print pattern with a water decal accent! I got these little decals from kkcenterhk a few months back, and they're just so cute. And I actually did these nails right before I went to look at some bunnies so I had to have the little bunnies with me for that! Actually I got the decals right after Foofy passed away, so it was my little way of taking my furbaby with me to meet my new possible furbaby. but ANYWAYS. 

For these nails I used two coats of Sinful Colors Pink Forever and I used acrylic paints in white and a lighter shade of pink to make the argyle pattern. And everything is top coated with Sally Hansen Insta-dri top coat! I loooved how these came out!

kkcenterhk Brush and Water Decals

Hi y'all!I have some more items from kkcenterhk store for you all today! This time I got some more brushes to try out and some water decals. Both worked really well! Up above is the mani I did to test out the brushes. They worked perfectly for the stripes! I also used them for the stems on the cherries. I wasn't happy with how it turned out over all though cause I suck at doing patterned nails, haha. 

 These are the brushes I got, they're amazing. SUPER thin and work great for all your striping needs. You can get them here. 

 The second Item I had to try out for them were these water decals. Let me just mention, I got the email about picking another item literally the day after Foofy passed away, and as I was trying to look through and decide what to get, I decided to look through some of the water decals. This happened to be one of the first ones I seen. It's a sheet with different little bunnies on it, but this one stood out to me. I knew I had to have it for my little angel bunny Foofster, and they're perfect! They don't quite look like her, but they're super cute and I love them. And how perfect of a match is that nail polish color? 

Anyways, the water decals worked great! I love them. It took a little effort to slide them off the backing paper but other than that they were great!

kkcenterhk review; stamper and brush set

 Hi y'all! I have a little bit of a review for you today! I haven't been around this month much but I'm getting ready for my challenge with Polished By Audison starting at the end of the month, so I'll be posting plenty soon! Anyways, I have two more items from kkcenterhk today, a stamp, and a brush set. 

 this is the 7-brush set that they sent me to try out and you can get one for yourself here. 

 This is the stamp I got. it's a little different than your usual stamping plate and stamper, it's basically the plate and stamper all in one. You can get one for yourself if you'd like here. 

and this is the look I did with the two items. Only three fingers shown cause I messed up my index finger reaching for the camera and I'm lazy and didn't want to redo it. The stamper is so so so much easier to use than the usual stamping plates for me. (I still need some practice with it though, there was smearing on a bit of it and then the top coat smeared it a little too) but it's also a little bit quicker if you as me as it takes out the extra step of scrapping and stamping it onto the stamper and then onto the nail. You can just wipe the excess polish off on a piece of paper and then stamp onto the nail. I might have to play with this a little more to see what I can do with it. The only downside is the whole size of the stamper is smaller than most stamping plates and the images are really small, so most people probably aren't going to find full nail images on these that fit their nails. 

Now, on to the brushes. I LOOOVE these brushes. I only used one of the smallest ones in the set, but to be fair the two super tiny little detail ones will probably be the only ones I actually use, or at least the ones I use the most. They worked super well and easy, and they're smaller than most 'nail art' brushes I've seen. I think they really are actually meant for doing nail art as they're THAT tiny and I love it. I can't wait to try these out for more looks. Also, on the website on the item page, it says not to use acetone or polish remover on these brushes, to be fair, if you use only polish for your art, I don't think thats going to be possible, I use mostly acrlyic paints, so it probably could work for me, but even then, I find polish remover is a must to really get them clean. I usually use my polish remover pads from LA Colors to clean my brushes. 

kkcenterhk store review stamping plate + water decals

Wooo! Hi Y'all! I have a couple more items to show you all from kkcenterhk today. Some are great, some are.. not so great.

I got three things this time. Two that I chose, one that went along with one of the items. You can get them all at the links below:

First up we have the stamping plate. This was the item that wasn't really that great. You can get most of the images to work with super light scraping and moving the polish around back into the images. But most of the images are etched pretty shallow and so too much scraping and you scrape it all right out of the image. The stamper that I got I used for the stamping, it's a mini sized one, it's a short little thing, but the size of the actual stamper is almost the same size as the large end of the konad double ended stamper i have. I like the texture on the stamper better than the konad one, and it has a tiny bit more of a squish to it. So all in all, for a cheap stamper, it's a pretty decent one. At least compared to the one other stamper that I've used anyways. So if you wanted to grab the stamper, I'd say go for it. As for the stamping plate, I'd say beware and don't expect the best quality from it if you do. 

Now on to the water decals. This picture above was my first attempt at using them. Let me just say, some things should come with instructions and not just assume that everyone is gong to know how to use them. I thought you could use them just like a temporary tattoo, just place it on the nail, get it wet, wait til it'll slide of the paper back and tada, done! But nope! Doesn't work that way. I thought they were no good til looking up water decals and talking with someone else that's used them from kkcenterhk before. 

This is the second attempt. Much better! Now I know they're not messed up! 

For these I had to put them in a cup/bowl of water. Then I picked them up out of the water with tweezers, place it on the fingertip of my opposite hand, and then placed it onto the nail from there so that the right side showed on. Basically, they have to be placed with the same side facing up as what faces up on the paper they come on. 

It's a lot easier than it sounds! And the images on them are really cute. They were so easy, they'd be great for someone that likes nail art but doesn't have time or isn't that great at free handing designs! And isn't great at stamping. I'd for sure recommend these decals, just don't be silly like me and think you can just put them directly onto the nail from the paper backing! They don't show up right that way!

Bluesea Bow shaped nail decoration review

Today I have a review for you of these cute little 3d bow shapes! They were sent to me by kkcenterhk and arrived pretty quickly considering they were being shipped from Hong Kong! They were here about ten days after speaking with them. I don't know if this is the usual for their shipping or not, but if it is, it's awesome! 

I picked these Bluesea-CB01B 3d nail art decorations. They're little bow shapes and the have a white background with pink leopard print on them. They're sooo cute and I was so excited when they came in the mail. I just couldn't wait to try them and get this review up to show you all! 

I did an awesome white and pink leopard mani to match the bows. I alternated between Sinful Colors Snow me White and LA Colors Pink Bubbles I think used Pink Bubbles and black acrylic paint to create the leopard design on the white nails. The index finger I added little white dots, and the ring finger, I added the bow to. They were sooo cute!

Until I realized my oopsie. I attached the little bows using top coat, just like I would any other gem or stud, though the site says to use nail glue. I thought it just said that as a way to make the decoration last longer on the nail, and as I didn't have any nail glue around because I don't use it for anything, it would be a waste, I just went 'oh well, I'll use top coat, it'll be fine' but NOPE! Let me just say.. if a products page says to use glue to attach it, I now know that I should listen and use nail glue and not top coat. These would have been cute and reusable but.. since I didn't listen.. they're not. On the right hand, pretty quickly after I attached it, I bumped it before it was dry and attached good, causing the bow to move. Along with smearing the nail, it smeared and pulled off the design from the bow. Making them unusable now. When I took the other one off that's pictured here, I had a tiny bit of that problem as well, but I may be able to use that one still.

Here's a picture of the worst one just to show what I mean. So, to sum up that long rambling mess up there? DON'T USE TOP COAT TO ATTACH THESE. At least not if you want to be able to use them again. Use nail glue like the site says.

These come in a pack of two and are about $4 per pack. Which normally, I wouldn't pay for just two little bow shaped gems, but these are meant to be reusable so it's not too bad as long as you get a few uses out of them.
