So for today the theme we have is either Animal print or Stripes. And I LOVE animal print anything, and it's also SO FUN and easy to do. So the obvious choice was obvious. And for this look I chose to do giraffe print. I love zebra (I love zebras in general) And I love the leopard nails, but I don't see giraffe quite as often as either of those others so I thought I would try to do something a little different than everyone else might do. I started with a base color, two coats of sinful colors pull over which actually could have probably used one more coat as it goes on a little streaky, but I think it looks fine.
For the spots I used a dotting tool and brown acrylic paint to make little shapes. It's pretty easy, just make little shapes that don't touch but fit together like puzzle pieces. And don't worry if they're not perfect.
I actually have no idea what happened to my pinky, it kinda looks like the tip melted there haha. But I'm guessing I must have bumped it against something while I was putting all of my junk away again. I end up doing that a lot :/ but other than that these are PERFECT and AMAZING and I love them and can't stop staring, seriously.
And since I used these for swatches, I just couldn't stand to leave them plain and had to do something. So I did this and you get a little bonus to go along with my nails for today. :)
