Hi y'all! I have some fun checkered print nail art for you all! It's part of a twin blog post with a few of the ladies from Hobby Polish Bloggers and my twin partner I got was Nail Art Novice and the pattern we got was checkered, and this is what I came up with for the pattern!
For this look I started off with three coats of LA Colors La Creme for the base color which is a really awesome off white color. I love it for a base as it's white but it's not too overly bright white.
And once the base color was dry I used black acrylic paint and a striping brush and also a detail brush to make the checkered pattern. And after that was dry, I used pink acrylic paint to make little hearts with a detail brush inside the black squares. These didn't come out exactly as I had pictured them in my head, but they still came out much better than I thought they would.
