#bomnailartjune Instagram challenge: Butterfly!

Hi y'all! I found a challenge on instagram this afternoon. I'm actually a day late in starting it, but it looked like it would be a lot of fun to try and do! I definitely need something to give me some inspiration in painting my nails. I get a little tired of just doing the same thing all the time. The first days challenge is for butterflies. It's been a while since I've tried butterfly wings, thought I'd give it a shot. Only as an accent though.

For this looke I used Rimmel London Green With Envy and Sunny Days, and NYC Palm On The Beach. I painted Green With Envy as my base color. Then on my accent/wing nail I sponged on all three colors. Adding each until they blended and looked the way I wanted them to. On the rest of the nails I made a half circle in white acrylic paint. Then another line above that of the white. Then I used black to make the silhouette of a butterfly. I think it came out super cute!

Dragonfly Nails!

 Hi y'all! I have some more nail art for you all today so I hope you enjoy it! Today I have some cute and simple dotted Dragonflys. You might have noticed another post I did recently had bumble bees, this is because I asked recently on my facebook page for people to try and help give me some inspiration as I was feeling a little stuck when it came to ideas. There's so many designs out there, it's hard to find one that hasn't been done so much that you're sick of seeing it! Though there are so many cute ones it's also hard to resist trying them. BUT anyways, the point is, someone suggested I do an insect theme for the spring/summer and I thought that was a great idea! So I've gotten started on that and I just have to decide for sure what other insects will be included in the mix! Bumble bees and dragonflies are done. Next up I'm thinking is lady bugs? Bumble bee nails!

 Hi y'all! I have some cute springy/summer nail art for you all today depending which you'd prefer to call it! I think it could work for both, there's bees out and about during spring and summer! This is something I've wanted to do for a while and just never did get around to it, and now that I finally have? It didn't quite turn out the way I pictured it in my head. It's cute and I love it, but It's not what I expected. The bee Mani's I see from other people always look so much cuter! But anyways, I'll shush and get to the nails. Hippie Peace sign and tye dye!

Hi y'all! It's been a while since I've actually posted anything here, sooo sorry about that! I got out of the habit of posting and all that while getting settled with Valentina. (I need to share new pictures of her soon!) But anyways, I have some peace sign nail art to share with you all today. It's a super fun skittle Mani with peace sigsn and a tye-dye accent nail.
